The company claims that latest gadget is launched in domestic market, by targeting young people and to support the on-the-go lifestyle of business executives.

Some are the main features of newly launched energy star 5.0 certified netbooks are SPLIT ME, where one can share their data without worrying about the size of the file; LOCK ME that prevents data theft from the system; Secure ME, which is an effective tool to lock any application installed on the PC and Encrypt ME, which allows its user to encrypt their data and avoids unauthorized access of the data providing assurance against data theft.

Both products, which come with One Year Warranty with unique 24x7x365 days helpline support from HCL, are available in a range of exciting festival colours including red, blue and black, through major retail outlets, across the country. Where one side, HCL ME 06 Netbook is priced at INR 19,990, while on other side HCL ME 45 notebook is available at a price tag of INR 39,990.

Beside the launch of these two products, HCL has also announced the launch of a special festival campaign named “Winter Carnival”. Under the offer, a consumer will get a Reebok tracksuit worth INR 5999 FREE, on purchase of any HCL ME (Mobile Excitement) laptop.
