Foxit Corporation, a leading provider of solutions for reading, creating, organizing and securing PDF documents, has announced the release of firmware 2.0 for its eReader device, eSlick.
The latest firmware update includes some tremendous new features and has improved many of the features from old firmware updates.
With the introduction of update, eSlick consumers will now be able to view documents in ePub and eReader (PDB) apart from formerly supported PDF and Text formats. The latest support for ePub and eReader facilitate customers to read books downloaded from any web portal, which supports these reading formats.
In addition, eSlick costumers will also be able to view pics in GIF, PNG, JPEG and EMP formats.
Beside this, Foxit eSlick is embedded with on-screen virtual keyboard, which enables users to type text. The typing feature allows unlocking documents that have password protection.
Consumers can now also create folders to house their books in categories and folders of your choice. Customers can also name, copy, move and delete folders
Foxit eSlick is now also loaded with a bookmark feature, through which user can discontinue reading at any point, by placing a bookmark and be able to return to the bookmark at a later time.
