XL Telecom bags order worth Rs 235 million from BSNL

XL Telecom XL Telecom bags order worth Rs 235 million from BSNL XL Telecom & Energy Ltd, a leading global Solar Energy focused company, has received orders valued Rs 235 million for supply of Solar Photovoltaic Power Systems to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

The order involves supply of complete Solar System for Telecom Applications. XL has won the prestigious order with stiff competition from strong solar players including Moser Baer, Tata BP Solar, Reliance to name a few.

XL Telecom is a leading “Solar End-to-End solution” provider with its solutions extending from Solar Cell Manufacturing to SPV Modules to Turnkey systems Integration for Solar Fames and as a pure-play Solar Utility company through Subsidiary – has been, focusing for last few years only in the Global Export Opportunity with significant Investments in Europe.

XL Telecom, through its subsidiary, established 1.6 MW Solar Farm in Europe in October 2008, the first Company globally to capture the complete Solar Value Chain from Solar Cell to Energy Generation with total investment of Euro 10.3 million which is making profits since then.

XL, while continuing its larger strategy of focusing in Global opportunities, especially with its near term plans to invest about 55 MW worth Solar farts in Italy – has decided. In line with this shift in demand pattern for Solar in India with recent policy initiatives,, XL is planning to focus on India opportunity as well.
