Infrastructure development firm Pratibha Industries, has secured a contract for `Procurement, Fabrication and Laying of Clear Water Main from Vajarahalli to HBR on the East of Bangalore’ from Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board.
The project is in joint-venture with Gammon India Ltd. The total value of the contract is Rs. 309.46 crore.
The project has various components, viz., (i) MS trunk mains of diameter from 1800 mm to 700 mm of total length of 45 km, (ii) DI trunk main of diameter 500 mm of 5 km, (iii) external / internal coating and epoxy painting of the pipes, (iv) fabrication, laying, jointing, erection and construction of pipe specials, valves, saddle supports, thrust blocks and anchor blocks and (v) interconnection with existing water supply system.
The project to be executed in 26 months is funded by Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
The stock of the company is presently trading at Rs 272.50, up 4% on BSE (10:20 am). The stock has made intraday high and low of Rs 275 and Rs 265 respectively.
